Frankel, Hasner agree on two debates

Adam Hasner and Lois Frankel have agreed to two Congressional debates leading up to the November election.

Hasner, a Republican former state house leader, and Frankel, a Democratic former state minority leader and West Palm Beach mayor, will face off Oct. 17 at 10:30 a.m. at The Palm Beach Post and Oct. 28 at 8:30 a.m. at CBS4 Miami.

The candidates jointly announced the debates and sent out statements.

“I look forward to giving the people of the 22nd District the opportunity to judge for themselves who has the better ideas to create jobs, protect women’s health, and strengthen Medicare and Social Security,” Frankel said in a statement.

“We offer two very different approaches to address America’s challenges, and I look forward to sharing my detailed ideas to fix Washington, create jobs and fuel a sustainable economic recovery,” Hasner said in a statement. (PostPolitics/Abramson)
