Fla poll: Obama 49%, Romney 44%; Bill Nelson 49, Connie Mack 35

A new Sept. 16-18 Fox News Florida poll (MoE +/- 3%) finds Barack Obama leading Mitt Romney 49 percent to 44 percent and Democratic U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson blowing out Republican Challenger Connie Mack IV 49 percent to 35 percent (At least Mack can tout outlier results from obscure, Orlando-based Gravis Marketing).

The Fox poll had an extra sampling of Hispanic voters and found Obama leading Romney among Florida Hispanics 58 percent to 37 percent ( four years ago Obama beat McCain among Florida Hispanics (57 percent to 42, according to exit polls). The poll showed Romney leading among white voters 52 percent to 42 percent, and Obama leading among women by a whopping 57 percent to 38 percent.
