Republicans mount ‘Super Saturday’ grassroots effort across Florida

Republicans are making a big grassroots push on Saturday — so big they are calling it Super Saturday.

Volunteers will make phone calls and go door-to-door “to connect with voters and grow support for Gov. Mitt Romney and Republican candidates,” says the RNC. “The GOP base has never been more energized by the President’s disrespectful comments about small business owners, and more and more Floridians have come to the conclusion that President Obama’s economic strategy just didn’t work.”

“Last month, Super Saturday was a huge success, with volunteers contacting more than 100,000 voters in a single day. Florida’s Victory effort expects to surpass this single-day figure tomorrow.”      Events are below. … Read more  (TBT/Leary)
