New ad directed at Florida Hispanics says Romney ‘wants to cut programs that help the average joe’

SEIU and pro-Obama super PAC Priorities USA Action have teamed up on another ad in Florida that attempts to discredit Mitt Romney among Hispanics.

The ad is focused on Romney’s support of a Republican budget that would transform Medicare. “Do you know what that would mean for a lot of people? Including my mother,” a Hispanic man says. The ad includes the caveat “essentially end” but leaves out important context. Republicans don’t just want to eliminate Medicare; they want to shift the program to one based on vouchers.

Script here. The ad is part of a $4 million effort between the union and super PAC and other spots are running in Colorado and Nevada.
